Welcome to Aviation Medical Services' new web site! Our goal with this page is to provide you with access to information about who we are, what we do, and most importantly, what we can do for you! If you're either a pilot or involved in the field of aviation and are looking for expert AMEs that can answer your questions, you've found the right place. Aviation Medical Services of Alaska specializes in performing Aviation Medical Examinations, performing over 200 flight physicals per month. We we are experts in providing assistance to pilots with problematic Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) medical cases. While not every medically disqualified pilot can hope to have his or her Medical Certificate reinstated, many actually can, and the outcome is often determined by the quality of the supporting documentation rather than the actual medical condition in question. Our office is located in Anchorage, Alaska, very close to Ted Steven's International Airport and Lake Hood, on the corner of International Airport Road and Spenard Road. If you're heading towards the airport on International Airport Road, take the right at Spenard and take another immediate right (into the parking lot). You should see us.

Our Hours, Rates, and Fees ... No matter where you live, you can have the best in the business look into your flight physical problem, give you sound advice, and advocate for you every step of the way. If obtaining your FAA Medical Certificate is at all reasonable, we will give you the best assistance money can buy, for a very reasonable fee. Aviation Medical Services is also fully accredited to monitor and process HIMS cases. Currently we charge $125 for an FAA Examination, $75 for an FAA transmitted EKG, and we charge $250 / hr. for processing fees. We also offer a 50% discount to student pilots. We're open Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, local time and by appointment on Saturdays. Walk-ins are more than welcome, but you really do need to schedule an appointment (preferably well in advance).
